Feed a cold, starve a fever.

So, I’ve been fighting it for a while.  It being THE ICK.  As per my usual, I just go and go and go and go and ignore it until SMACK, I’m hit like a ton of bricks.

Now, there’s the old saying:  Feed  a cold, starve a fever, right?

Apparently the saying for me is:  At the first sign of sniffles, EAT EVERYTHING IN SIGHT.

For lunch today, I took another attempt at Pho.  If you browse through Yelp reviews, people sing its praises.  Like it’s a miracle fucking cure-all.  I’ve tried it 3 times when I’ve been under-the-weather.  It’s tasty, but makes me nothing but over-full and bloated.

Between that and all the tea and water I was drinking today at work, I had to pee about every 10 minutes.

So tonight for dinner, I stopped and picked up some Chinese food. Mainly for the Hot and Sour Soup, in an attempt to burn the cold out of me.  I may have also gotten 2 egg rolls and some fried rice.  Maybe.  Nothing compares to New Jersey Chinese food, sad to say.  But hell, I’ll still eat it.  Because I’m an idiot.

So I’m just over-full, over-hydrated (if there is such a thing), and yet, still coughing, sniffling and sneezing.

Wow, what a boring blog post.  I have all these ideas for stuff to write about, but I don’t have the energy tonight.  I should probably just go to sleep.
